Monday morning
The outpouring for Liz and Silent Knight Farm continues and all I can say is THANK YOU.
Let's reach at least $1000 by the end of TODAY!
There is a rescue in Marana Arizona that is a 501 non-profit who are willing to take up to 10 horses and are doing fundraising for Liz! So give a shout out to them.

Sunday Evening
Liz and I exchanged a few texts today (yes, I managed a couple of bars on the ole cell phone!)
She is overwhelmed by everything. She thanks everyone for all that has happened in such a short period of time...
I continue to believe with my entire being that we will get Liz through this and for that we will ALL be better and stronger people...
If you have ever had someone reach out to you in YOUR time of need and never asked for repayment...in honor of that person why don't you think about PAYING IT FORWARD.
My plans are still to be in California on Tuesday and probably get to Liz's on Wednesday fresh and early and spend the day doing whatever needs to be done.
While I am there I will post each evening here and on my FB page.
Blessings to everyone who is assisting in any way.

THANK YOU...
already for the outpouring of assistance, inquiries and kind words.
Liz and Lucy need help at the ranch, just with the daily feeding, cleaning and organization...
If you are near Aguanga and want to spend a day outside doing physical work and feeling AMAZING for doing it, please contact Luzy (via text) for directions.
The ranch is about 30 miles EAST of TEMECULA... the last 2 miles is not the most pleasant of roads..but passable.
Lucy's cell: 951.551.2124.
Let's all unite to get some help to her in the way of people!
I'll be there either Tuesday or Wednesday and look forward to meeting you!!!

Liz's RANCH MANAGER CONTACT INFORMATION
Horse showing in Aguanga is being coordinated by the incomparably valuable Lucy Gonzalez: 951-551-2124. Texting works best because cell reception is spotty, but any way you contact her, she will get back to you as pronto as possible!
Liz Masters and Lucy Gonzalez can use all the help they can get. The ranch help had to be let go, and they're buried alive over there feeding & caring for 80+ head, plus dogs, plus the cattle. Feeding hay & buckets alone takes hours each day, and there had been a whole crew of ranch help for daily stall and paddock cleaning. If there is ANYONE available to help with daily ranch chores even once in awhile over there, it would mean the world...

A word from Barbara Joy - January 1, 2012
Many who will read this know Liz and of course no introduction needs to be made in that case. Those of us who have had this amazing woman touch are life are reeling by her news of her health and loss of job, all within one week.
For those of you who are reading this and asking yourself what you can do, or why Liz....to try to put in words all Liz is and has done would take pages.
Liz Masters has this huge heart...she loves animals and is protective of them...she doesn't care if they are beautiful or homely, healthy or ready to die...she loves them and surrounds them with love and dignity and ALWAYS does her damndest to protect them and help them.
I've known Liz to go without something she needed to help an animal...this is who she is.
Liz is one of the beautiful souls on this earth and a humanitarian from the heart.
She needs help, her animals need help...NOW. For Liz to write such a personal posting and ask for help must have been one of the most difficult things she has ever done....
NOW WE, her friends, family, strangers need to pick up the reins and HELP HER.
I created this CHIPIN page on the suggestion of a FB friend who thought it would reach more people and allow maximum results.
Please check it out and do what you can...

LIZ - In her words - December 30, 2011
It is with deep sorrow and pain that I write to my Facebook rescue community and ask for your urgent help. Within this last week I have been both diagnosed with late-stage cancer and my employer has just closed their doors. Those of you who know me personally or through these pages know that these last many years I have rescued hundreds of horses that I’ve nursed back to health and re-homed over... the years here at my ranch. I now need your help desperately. I must find resources and homes for about 80 head that I currently have at the ranch, various breeds, ages and abilities. I currently have a decent stock of hay, but it will dwindle quickly with this many horses. My funds will drain quickly with their healthcare costs and support. I need large-scale rescue help to place these horses, as well as funds to see them through until they’re all homed. I am pretty overwhelmed with their care and feeding, as I’ve had to let my ranch help go. My ranch manager has agreed to stay to help with their care and dispersal, as well as to help manage the re-homing process. I need your fund-raising help to keep covering their costs. All funds will go directly to their care and feeding and all help to home the horses is welcomed. My PayPal address is: aercrider@hotmail.com I know the rescue community is working overtime right now, but I desperately need assistance. I also currently have many dogs that have been rescued from various shelters that will desperately need homes. Please help anyway you can.
